A Driver Guide is a chauffeurs (or driver) specialized to drive you around our amazing island. He is able to provide basic historical information, he can show you the main highlights ... he is knowledgeable and he has an umbrella of information. Our Driver Guide will take care to give adequate time at all stops and to accommodate special requests when possible, he will assure that your experience in Sicily will be both memorable and enjoyable.
The Driver Guide is not a Licensed Tourist Guide (Licensed Tourist Guide: are the only professionals -- with a Regional license -- permitted to conduct visits and tours in all sites and museums within a city) and he cannot escort you inside the monuments because this is not allowed by Italian Rules. In case you need a Licensed Tourist Guide where not included in the program, you must pay a surcharge and we will arrange for Licensed Guide to meet you directly on the spot.

ADeparture from your hotel at 7:00 am. Visit the biggest volcano in Europe: Etna!(3340 mt.). Arrival at "Rifugio Sapienza" situated at 1900 mt.. For those interested, there will be the possibility to go up by cablecar and Jeep to the height of 3000 mt.. In the afternoon a visit to Taormina to see the Greek Theatre. Free time for shopping. Return in the evening to your hotel for dinner.

Palermo and Monreale
Departure from your hotel at 7:00 am. Arrival in Monreale where the local guide will meet us. We will then visit the famous and superb Norman Cathedral of Monreale, masterpiece of the Arab-Norman Art with more than 6000 m2 of byzantine mosaics. If you wish you can then also visit the Benedectine Cloisters.
After that departure for Palermo where we will visit the Piazza Pretoria , the Church of the Martorana and the Cathedral, and then go through the small alleys of a typical Sicilian market, the Capo, the Piazza Verdi, the heart of the city, where the imposing Teatro Massimo is to be found. Bus transfer from your hotel to the port of Cefalù. The boat leaves at 08:00, arriving at Lipari at 09.45. Free time to visit the Island. At 13.00 leave to visit Vulcano, arriving at 13.15. Free time to visit the Island with the possibility of having a mud bath, or to bathe in the thermal SPA. Partenza alle ore 8:00 dal porto di Cefalù per la minicrociera: alla scoperta dello spettacolare scenario del mar tirreno e delle isole più selvaggie e incontaminate dell’arcipelago Eoliano: Alicudi e Filicudi Arrivo sotto la costa di Filicudi alle ore 09.30, circumnavigazione dell’isola e visita dal mare del Faraglione della Canna, dello scoglio Giafante della Grotta del Bue Marino. Continuazione per il porto di Filicudi, sosta e tempo libero. (Pranzo facoltativo). Partenza ore 14.30. Arrivo ad Alicudi alle ore 15.00 circa.
